After a great night’s sleep (it must have been all the fresh air on Wednesday), the children woke at 7.00am ready for the day ahead. They started the day with a full, cooked breakfast and as much toast as they could manage – quite a lot, apparently!
By 9.15, we all split into our groups and began the first activities. Today the children experienced the high ropes course, raft building, the vertical challenge, abseiling and climbing. Over the course of the day the children have each taken part in 4 different activities and have thoroughly enjoyed themselves again proving that they are fantastic at teamwork and can achieve more than they’d ever imagined.
They are now relaxing with their friends and will get another good night’s rest ready for their final two activities tomorrow morning and the journey home in the afternoon when, I am sure, they will tell you all about their fantastic three days away.
