Small, Great Things Project

Today our Inclusion Ambassadors have been working with Valerie and Clare from The Local Offer on the ‘Small, Great Things’ project.

We began by watching some information on disabilities and how they can vary. We learnt that not all disabilities are visible and this is a message that we hope to spread. We also learnt that people with disabilities are just as capable of achieving great things and by working together we can all learn from each other.

As a group we then discussed the power of doing small kind things for each other and how much difference it can make. Helping someone else can not only make their day but can also help you to feel great about yourself too!

To finish our session we decorated stones with messages of kindness to help spread not just our message, but happiness too.

Watch this space for further information on our ‘Small, Great Things’ project.
